Well first and foremost, make it a gentle space! No pebbles yard surfaces just green grass REAL grass with flowerbeds / vegetable beds allocated to people who volunteer from the community and look after those beds. Then a competition every month to choose the most successful, healthy garden.
Thanks, Patricia. We really want a gentle space and love the idea of getting volunteers involved in making a real garden. Have added that to all the other good ideas we are getting.
How will we know when or if it’s up and going?
Good question, Kate. If you fill in our contact form and trust us with your e-mail address, you will get e-mail updates and a personal invitation to our opening. Otherwise, follow this blog or our facebook page, or our twitter account (see links below) for updates. If all goes to plan there will be lots of targetted marketing before the launch as well.
